Sometimes, even though you love a neighborhood SO much, you need to move.
Over a year prior to listing, the family that had been living at 4101 Scales knew they were going to relocate out of state, even though they loved their location within Mueller, their neighbors, and living in Austin.
Since they knew they were going to move at some point, they gave me a call. We starting speaking more than a year before we listed their home.
We talked about the market, what it would take to sell, and any outstanding repairs that needed to be done to the home before we listed it. They took the year to get those little things done and also start packing since we decided we would sell the house vacant.
Over that year, we got together with a handful of vendors to bring everything together. We brought in painters, roofers, interior cleaners, carpet cleaners, patio/roof cleaners, window cleaners, landscapers, and Mueller High Life to get the home sparkling for its new owners.
By the way, all of this is completely normal and expected in the home selling process. This particular home was in great condition when we began. This is just what it takes to get top dollar for your home in todays market.
Thanks to the turf, the backyard didn’t really need that much love, but the pergola and sail shades needed a refresh.
Once all that work was done, it was time to give the house it’s glow up with professional staging and beautiful photographs.
The staging in the living room was so cozy and inviting that it was hard not to plop down and take a nap every time I was in it!
All the natural light in the Primary bedroom helped the beautiful staging pop.
Rather soon after listing, an offer was presented to us that met what the sellers were looking for, so they accepted it! Getting to the closing table took a little bit more finesse, but in the end, everything came together and now this coveted corner of the neighborhood has a new family excited to become part of the Mueller community.
