I got another email today asking about homes for lease at the old airport. There are a few options in right now:
- Detached homes for lease by their landlord owners: you can see a list of current Mueller homes for lease here. Rents are rising as time goes on – available leases are few and far between. One reason is that purchasers of new homes have to agree to owner-occupy for the first year of ownership. Given the development is ony 3.5 years old, some owners are still under this restriction.
- Apartments for lease at Mosaic. These luxury apartments are also available on a short term basis (by negotiation) if you’re considering a place to stay while you have a home built for example. Get in touch if you want me to negotiate for you.
- Garage apartments – these are <600sqft apartments built with some of the Standard Pacific floorplans and typically rent for $850-950 a month. With only around 25 garage apartments available, these are in short supply too.
- Wildflower Terrace – this is available towards the end of 2011 for seniors (over 55 years old). While some units are income qualified, not all are, and you can read more about the senior affordable development and see how to get on an interest list at my old post.
